• Jerry Herbst, Northeast Regional Manager of Elkhart Brass - He will show the new UNIBODY APPARATUS VALVE and will do an overview of their website and catalog. There will be time for questions from the members.

We are sorry to inform you that Anthony Daniele, son of LIEVT member Joe Daniele of Wantagh, passed away last night. He will be waked today and tomorrow at the Noce Funeral Home on Rte # 109 in North Babylon. We have sent a nice floral tribute from the membership.

Members wishing to show their support for the Daniele family are asked to gather at the funeral home at 7:30pm, May 8th (Tuesday night).

SEE A PUMP TEST DONE BY A HALE PUMP SPECIALIST

Hale Pump Specialist Sean Kelly will spend a day at the Nassau County Fire Service Academy on Friday, April 27. He will cover everything from basic theory to trouble shooting and solving problems that come up during pump tests. Daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance will be discussed. He will perform a pump test on an apparatus.
