The annual barbecue meeting was held at the Wantagh Fire Department on Thursday, June 28, 2018. The rain had been torrential but we were blessed with clearing as the cooks started. They deserved the chefs hats we gave them. The food was excellent. The fifty plus attendees were made to feel welcome by the members of Wantagh Fire Department.

The regular meeting of LIEVT was held at the Westbury Fire Department on May 24, 2018 at the Westbury Fire Department and the Westbury Water District. Close to forty members enjoyed excellent appetizers, dinner and dessert and were made to feel welcome by the Westbury officers and men.

Close to fifty members enjoyed an excellent dinner and dessert and were made to feel welcome by the Bay Shore officers and men. The president, Bill D’Alessandro, opened the meeting with the pledge to the flag and a minute of silence for our past members and our service people.
