The regular meeting of LIEVT was held at the West Hempstead Fire District headquarters on Thursday, April 20, 2017. Fifty some members enjoyed an excellent dinner and were made to feel welcome by the West Hempstead officers and men.

The regular meeting of LIEVT was held at the Bay Shore Fire District on Thursday, March 23, 2017. The February 9 meeting was canceled because of a heavy snowfall. The members enjoyed an excellent dinner and were made to feel welcome by the Bay Shore officers and men. The president, Bill D'Alessandro and the Vice-President, Danny Peluso were not able to attend. Kit Cafaro and Barbara Connolly conducted the meeting.

The regular meeting of LIEVT was held at the Copiague Fire District on January 12, 2017. An excellent dinner was served. The forty plus attendees were made to feel welcome by the members of Copiague Fire District.
