Meeting Report - Feb, 2024

This month's meeting was held at Copiague Fire Headquarters on Thursday February 22. The meeting was called to order by President Manetta with a salute to the flag followed by a moment of silence at 22:00 hours with 30 members present.

Barbara reported that she has recently spoken to Kit and she is doing well. Barbara will speak to EVT at FDIC and asked that any member who is attending this year forward her any contact information that you gather regarding future classes.

There are a number of members that still owe dues for 2023, if you are guilty please speak to your Department or directly to Barbara to get yourself back into good standings.

There was a discussion regarding future training classes.

This month's class was given by Ken Fisher, Regional Sales Manager for Sound Off Signal who discussed Specing, repair, and maintenance of both silicone and poly lights. Sound Off has also increase their inventory of both 6 X 6 and 9 X9 lighting to better serve the Fire Service.

The meeting adjourned at 21:45 hours.
