Minutes of the December 2025 Meeting

This month's meeting was held at Syosset Fire Department Station #2 on Wednesday December 17. The meeting was called to order by Vice President DeGraff at 20:00 hours with a salute to the flag followed by a moment of silence with 39 members present. The membership chowed down on a delicious meal provided by the host Department. The minutes of the November meeting were read and approved.

Barbara opened the meeting by thanking outgoing President Manetta for his time running the organization.

An Email was then read by the secretary from Chris Persico expressing his desire to accept a nomination for the position of Vice President. A motion was made that Brendan DeGraff and Chris Persico be confirmed as the new President and Vice President, the motion was passed by a unanimous vote.

Barbara provided us with samples for members to see as we will be purchasing 40th anniversary jackets soon. For those dues paying members that missed this meeting please reach out to Barbara via email for additional info.

This month's presentation was by Ryan Major, Northeast Territory Manager of Innomotive Solutions Group[*1] . We experienced some technical difficulties with the AV equipment but Ryan overcame the problems with a strong presentation describing their product line as well as the design and maintenance of their roll up doors.

The evening ended with numerous raffles of gifts provided by Innomotive Solutions, Trident, RVI, and Hendrickson.

The meeting adjourned at 21:11 hours
