Minutes of the December 2024 Meeting
This month's meeting was once again held at the Copiague Fire Headquarters on Thursday December 12. The meeting was called to order by President Manetta at 19:57 hours with a salute to the flag followed by a moment of silence with 32 members present.
At this time Barbara unloaded on the membership about the lack of interest as well as the lack of host Departments and assistance with choosing classes and or coming up with Corporate Representatives to give classes. A long discussion followed.
Motion was made and passed to pay the insurance for 2025 and send out dues forms for 2025. The Association will Live!!!
Members discussed and agreed that 3 or 4 meetings a year can simply be round table discussions brought to the meeting by members, be it a specific problem, new technique, or basically any topic that someone would like the group to talk about.
The meeting adjourned at 21:05 hours.
