Minutes of the October 2023 Meeting

This month's meeting was once again held at the Copiague Fire Headquarters on Thursday October 5th. The meeting was called to order by President Manetta with a pledge to the flag followed by a moment of silence at 19:47 hours with 29 members present.

In Barbara's absence President Manetta discussed our ongoing problem of finding host Fire Departments. It seems like someone asks at every meeting but we return to the same few locations every month. If any member would like to host a meeting or class please reach out to Barbara. It would be greatly appreciated!!

With no additional business to discuss the President turned the room over to Sr. Automotive Instructor Mark Lennon, brought to us by Gina Mitchell from Eagle Chevrolet.

Mark presented an interesting class on Hybrid and Electric Vehicles, theory, operation, and safety.

The meeting adjourned at 21:20 hours.
